Customer Testimonial Matt Foulger Norwich

I'd like to express my extreme gratitude to all at 5day driving. Thanks to Jo for booking me in at short notice, bob for his daily tutorial on safety and all involved in the running of 5day ie Richard and John. A massive, massive thanks to my very patient instructor Peter, without him I would still be learning how to do up my seatbelt!! he had the patients of a saint and was absolutely top notch in teaching me how to drive. Even though i didnt pass first time (busted doing 24mph in a 20!) sorry Bob .... 5DAY rebooked me back in very quickly to do my retest which I passed today, 26th March. The course itself is very intense but what I leanrt in a week would have taken me months to master. All in all ive learnt to drive in 3 weeks, something i never thought i'd ever do as its taken me 18 years to get off my backside to do!

Is the Driving Age being raised to 18?

Every day we are asked by prospective customers, is the driving age being raised from 17 to 18? The industry is about to go through some radical changes in an attempt to reduce the amount of deaths on the road. The government will be considering various options later this year. Whatever happens, before any changes can be made, the government must issue a consultation document which will be published here www.dsa.gov.uk This consultation document gives us all the chance to voice our opinion to any changes. As a prospective learner will be able to have a say on any changes so look out for the document and make sure you send in your opinion. There are many alternatives to the problem and we believe that simply putting up the age will move the problem a year on. Let us know what you think and reply to this blog.

Ist 5DAY Blog

Andy Peters, one of the 10 pupils last week recommended that we set up a blog to allow customers to comment on our services. He passed his theory on Wednesday of the course week and then went on to pass his driving test on the Saturday! Nothing to unusual about that as this is what we specialise in. However he passed the Driving Test with no FAULTS! Well done Andy and thanks for your kind comments in the week.
